Part of the GBIA's ongoing collection of Western Shoshone Oral Histories, this annual presentation of the newest additions to the collection celebrates the Western Shoshone communities of Northeastern Nevada and honors the elders who participated in this "History in the Making." It took place on Thursday, 11 June 2015, at the GBC Theater. This year, the GBIA will feature stories from: Madeline Bill, Gracie Begay, Katherine Blossom, Johnny Bobb, Darlene Dewey, Ronnie Dixon, Judy Moon Glasson, Ellison Jackson, Georgianna Price, Laura Rainey, Barbara Ridley, Evelyn Temoke-Roché, and Delaine Spilsbury. The celebration welcomes featured speaker Kyle Prior, an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of Duck Valley. Kyle has enjoyed serving the public in various capacities, including being appointed to the state Juvenile Justice Commission, as well as serving on the University of Idaho Native American Advisory Board.
